Hobart and William Smith Colleges lies in the heart of the Finger Lakes region and is easily accessible from the NY Thruway and a number of other routes. The campus is approximately one hour from the Rochester (ROC) or Syracuse (SYR) airports. Train service is available via those two cities as well; the train does not stop in Geneva, however so those wishing to take the train will need to arrange for car or bus transport from the Syracuse or Rochester station to Geneva.

Directions from the North
From the New York State Thruway (I-90), take exit 42 – Geneva. Once through the toll booth, take a right, heading south on Route 14 toward Geneva. Travel approximately 5.8 miles through the City of Geneva. Turn right on Seneca Street. Travel to the top of the hill to the “T” intersection. Turn left on South Main Street/Route 14. Continue approximately .7 miles.

Directions from the South
From the Southern Tier Expressway (Route I-86/17), take the Elmira exit off I-86 for Route 14 North. Follow Route 14, approximately 50 miles, until you reach Geneva.

The William Smith Inn

This historic home was once the home of William Smith, founder of William Smith College. The owners have blocked the entire house for NYCAS at a special rate of $145/night (minimum Friday and Saturday night stay). Call 315-521-9167 to reserve. The rate is valid through Saturday, August 19.
